Rules (For Books 1-3. See below for Keyboard Games Tournament Rules):

  1. Everyone will be placed on a tournament bracket according to what Music Moves book they are in
  2. Each week is a focus on a specific keyality or keyalities and their keyboard skills.
  3. Each skill is worth 10 points. The goal is to make as little mistakes as possible. Each mistake is -1 point. If you stop and start over, that is -1 point.
  4. You can go at whatever speed you are comfortable with!
  5. Whoever has the most points in your bracket at the end of the round moves on to the next round. Brackets are updated each Friday at the end of the week/round.
  6. If you are absent one week, you can send in a video with all of the skills for that round by Friday of that week. Honor code— you have to do it in one take! To keep the tournament rolling, if you don’t send in a video by Friday, you forfeit the round.
  7. If you are knocked out, you are still able to compete for a different prize, so continue practicing your skills for each round! </aside>
