The other pages are great for students in Music Moves Book 2 and beyond, depending on what skills they have already learned. There are blank cards you can use to create your own changes as well!

Note Parts

Great for emergent music literacy activities! Create different types of notes using the different parts of the note! One document is for those using black card stock, the other is for those printing on white card stock.

Reading and Writing Activities

Great for Book 1 students or early Book 2 students learning to read rhythm patterns. Students write the meter signature in the provided boxes and then write their own rhythm patterns. They can add pictures to create a rhythm story!

Rhythm Lines and Picture Boxes.pdf

Great for late Book 2, Book 3 students who are learning how to read familiar patterns on the staff. Space is provided for students to write a rhythm pattern first, and then they can write notes on the staff and then add correct stems, beams, dots, etc. as they reference the rhythm patterns they initially wrote.
